Standard A4 folder
Single interior pocket sized to hold A4 sheets flat.
Presentation and document folder printing in Mumbai — A4 folders with business card slots and internal pockets, on 300–400 GSM card with matt or gloss lamination.
A presentation folder is the packaging around your documents. It arrives before the proposal is read and it is what the client is holding while deciding whether to take you seriously.
It is also the most practical item in a corporate print set, because it turns a loose pile of sheets into a single object that does not get separated. We print folders for consulting firms, developers, banks, schools, hospitals and sales teams across Mumbai.
At least 300 GSM, and 350 to 400 GSM if the folder will hold a substantial set of documents. A folder is structural — it has to keep A4 sheets flat and hold its shape while being carried, and card that is too light collapses as soon as it is filled.
The other detail worth specifying is creasing. Folders are die-cut and creased before being glued, and a properly creased folder closes flat. One that has been folded without creasing bows open and looks bulky on a desk.

Each option is priced differently. Tell us how the item will be used and we will recommend one.
Single interior pocket sized to hold A4 sheets flat.
Die-cut slits on the pocket to hold a visiting card in place.
Two interior pockets for separating proposal and supporting documents.
Gusseted pocket that expands to hold a thicker document set.
A creased spine so the folder closes flat even when full.
Soft-touch lamination with spot UV or foil on the cover.
The detail that decides how your job is quoted and produced.

| Lamination | Matt, gloss or soft-touch — lamination also strengthens the folder |
| Extras | Business card slits, gusset for capacity, printed interior, spot UV, foiling |

| Printing | Outside always; inside printing optional and worth considering for messaging |

We specify GSM against how much the folder will actually carry, not the cheapest option.
Die-cut slits sized to hold a standard visiting card rather than letting it fall out.
Using an existing die removes the one-time die charge — worth it unless the shape is essential.
Soft-touch lamination with a spot UV logo costs little and changes the impression completely.
Folder pricing depends on card weight, lamination and whether a custom die is required. Using a standard die keeps the cost down significantly; a custom shape carries a one-time die charge that is retained for future orders.
Ordering in bulk? Folders are usually ordered in a few hundred at a time and store well, since the design rarely changes. Ordering the annual requirement in one run is normally the cheaper approach.
A straightforward process with an approval step before anything is printed.

Yes, and it is underused. The interior is visible for as long as the client has the folder open, which makes it useful space for capability points, contact details or a simple brand statement.
Usually not. Standard folder dies cover the common configurations and avoid a one-time die charge. A custom die is worth it only when the shape itself is part of the intended impression.
A standard pocket holds a modest document set comfortably. For thicker sets, a gusseted capacity pocket or a folder with a creased spine is the right choice — tell us roughly how many sheets and we will specify accordingly.
Yes, and ordering them together is the reliable way to do it. Printing the folder, letterhead and visiting cards in one production window keeps the colour consistent across all three.
