Short-run collateral
Flyers, brochures, posters and leaflets in quantities too small for offset.
Digital printing for short runs and quick turnaround in Mumbai — no plate cost, variable data supported, ideal for quantities too small to justify offset.
Digital printing changed what is worth printing at all. Before it, a short run meant paying offset setup costs for a handful of pieces, so businesses over-ordered and threw away the remainder when details changed. Now a small quantity is simply a small quantity.
It is the right process for anything that changes often or is needed quickly — a hundred cards for a new joiner, a revised price list, event material finalised the week before, or a proof copy before committing to a large offset run.
Choose digital when the quantity is small, the deadline is tight, or every piece needs to be different. Digital presses image directly from the file, so there are no plates to make and no plate cost to recover — which is exactly why a hundred pieces is viable digitally and uneconomical on offset.
The trade-off is per-piece cost at volume. Digital cost stays roughly flat per unit, so once a run is large enough, offset overtakes it and keeps getting cheaper. The crossover point differs by product, and we will tell you where yours sits.
Send us your quantity and requirement — we will tell you what makes sense rather than what costs most.
Each option is priced differently. Tell us how the item will be used and we will recommend one.
Flyers, brochures, posters and leaflets in quantities too small for offset.
Personalised cards, certificates, numbered passes and mailers where every piece differs.
A physical copy to check before committing to a large run.
Reorder small quantities as they are needed instead of stockpiling.
Image-heavy pieces where gradients and skin tones need to hold up.
The detail that decides how your job is quoted and produced.
| Technology | Dry toner and inkjet digital presses |
|---|---|
| Sheet sizes | Up to SRA3 and larger on wide-format digital equipment |
| Stocks | 70–400 GSM paper and card; selected synthetic and textured stocks |
| Colour | Full colour CMYK; close Pantone simulation (exact spot colours need offset) |
| Variable data | Supported — names, numbers, codes and images can change piece to piece |
| Plate cost | None, which is what makes short runs economical |
| Finishing | Lamination, creasing, folding, die-cutting, binding, numbering, perforation |
| Best for | Short to medium runs, urgent jobs, frequently updated content |
No plate making, so production begins as soon as the file is approved.
Setup cost is negligible, so printing fifty pieces is genuinely practical.
Changed a phone number or a price? The next run simply uses the new file.
Each piece can carry a different name, number or code without extra setup.
Digital pricing is driven by sheet count, stock and finishing rather than by setup, so the price per piece stays fairly stable as quantity rises. That predictability is an advantage for small orders and a disadvantage at volume — which is the point at which we would recommend offset instead.
Ordering in bulk? For genuinely large quantities, digital is usually the wrong tool. Send us the number you have in mind and we will quote it both ways so the comparison is in front of you rather than taken on trust.
A straightforward process with an approval step before anything is printed.
Product, quantity, size and deadline. Send artwork if you have it — if not, we can set it up.
Priced against your actual specification, with options where a different choice would cost less.
We check bleed, resolution, colour and trim safety, then send a proof for your written approval.
Printed, finished and packed. Delivery availability depends on order size and location.
Send us your requirement any time. We reply with options and pricing, not a sales script.
For most commercial work, no — modern digital output is very close to offset and the difference is rarely noticeable on a flyer or brochure. Offset still has the edge on exact spot-colour matching, very large solid areas of flat colour, and specialist stocks.
Small quantities are normal on digital. The practical floor is usually set by finishing rather than printing — some die-cutting and binding operations need a minimum to be worth setting up. Tell us the product and quantity and we will confirm.
Yes. Variable data is one of digital printing's real advantages. Send the list as a spreadsheet with the fields clearly labelled and we will merge it into the design.
Faster than offset, because there is no plate stage. Actual turnaround depends on quantity, stock availability and finishing — foiling or die-cutting adds time. Share your deadline upfront and we will confirm whether it is achievable.
Share the quantity, size and delivery area and we will come back with options and pricing.
