Standard A4 letterhead
Single-colour or full-colour print on 100 GSM maplitho — the everyday choice.
Company letterhead printing in Mumbai on 90–120 GSM maplitho and bond paper. A4 letterheads that run cleanly through office printers, with matching envelopes.
A letterhead is a formal document carrier. It goes on quotations, appointment letters, legal correspondence, certificates of employment and anything a business needs to say officially.
The design constraint everyone forgets is the printable area. A letterhead with a heavy design at the top and bottom leaves very little room for the actual letter, and a footer that sits too low gets clipped by the printer's non-printable margin. We set letterheads up with that in mind.
Somewhere between 90 and 120 GSM. That range is heavy enough to feel like proper business stationery and light enough to pass through a laser printer or photocopier without jamming — which matters, because letterheads exist to be printed on again later.
Avoid glossy or heavily coated stock for the same reason: toner does not bond well to a gloss surface and text can smudge or flake. Uncoated maplitho, bond or executive bond paper is the right family, and a light texture reads as more premium than a shine does.

DL or A4 envelopes printed to match, ordered together for consistent colour.
A raised or foiled logo for professional practices and premium positioning.
Quotation, invoice or report templates printed onto the letterhead base.
The detail that decides how your job is quoted and produced.
| Size | A4 (210 x 297 mm) standard |
|---|---|
| Paper | 90, 100 and 120 GSM maplitho, bond, executive bond and laid stocks |
| Printing | Offset for volume; digital for short runs and frequent detail changes |
| Colours | Full colour or single spot colour; spot colour is economical at volume |
| Printable area | Design kept clear of the printer margin so text is not clipped |
| Finish | Uncoated — coated and glossy stocks resist toner and smudge |
| Matching items | Envelopes, continuation sheets, compliment slips and visiting cards |
| Reorders | Artwork retained so repeat runs match exactly |
Stock and finish chosen so your own laser printer does not jam or smudge on it.
Design set within the printable area with enough clear space for a full letter.
Letterhead, envelope and visiting card printed together so colour matches across all three.
A single-colour letterhead printed offset is markedly cheaper than full colour on large runs.
Letterhead pricing depends on paper, colours and quantity. A single spot colour printed offset is much cheaper per sheet at volume than full colour, and for many logos it is visually identical. Ask us to quote both if your logo suits it.
Ordering in bulk? Letterheads are consumed steadily and the design rarely changes, which makes them ideal for an annual bulk run. The exception is a business whose address or phone number may change — in that case, print less and reorder.
A straightforward process with an approval step before anything is printed.
Product, quantity, size and deadline. Send artwork if you have it — if not, we can set it up.

100 GSM is the standard choice and works well in office printers. 120 GSM feels more substantial for external correspondence. Below 90 GSM the sheet feels thin and shows through.
Yes, and that is the point of them. Stay with uncoated stock in the 90 to 120 GSM range and standard laser printers handle it without trouble.
It depends on the logo. Many logos reproduce perfectly in a single spot colour, which costs less at volume. If your logo has gradients or photographic elements, full colour is necessary.
Yes, and ordering them together is worth doing — printing at the same time keeps the colour consistent between letterhead and envelope, which separate orders often fail to achieve.
