Crystal blocks and towers
Rectangular and tapered blocks — the standard corporate award form.
Crystal awards in Mumbai — optical crystal trophies with surface and 3D sub-surface laser engraving for corporate recognition.
Crystal is the material corporate recognition defaults to, and the reason is physical: it is heavy. Weight in the hand reads as significance, which is exactly what an award is supposed to communicate at the moment it is handed over.
It is also the most expensive award material, so it is usually reserved for senior recognition, annual awards and milestones rather than for larger prize-day quantities where acrylic does the job at a fraction of the cost.
A laser is focused inside the crystal block rather than on its surface, creating a pattern of microscopic fractures that form an image suspended within the glass. The outside stays completely smooth, and the image appears to float inside.
It works particularly well for logos, building silhouettes and simple three-dimensional shapes. Fine text and photographic detail hold less well, because the technique builds an image from points rather than continuous lines.

| Material | Optical crystal (K9 grade commonly used) |
|---|---|
| Engraving | Surface laser, 3D sub-surface laser, sandblasting, colour printing |
| Sizes | From small desk pieces to large presentation blocks |
| Weight | Substantially heavier than acrylic — a key part of the perceived value |
| Best for | Logos and simple shapes; very fine text loses definition sub-surface |
| Bases | Wood, metal and crystal bases available |
| Packing | Individually boxed with foam or velvet lining as standard |
| Note | Engraving is permanent — the recipient list must be final before production |
Crystal feels significant in the hand, which is most of what an award has to do.
An image suspended inside the glass is something acrylic and metal cannot reproduce.
Laser engraving is part of the crystal — nothing to peel, rub off or discolour.
Lined boxes so the award survives the journey to the stage and home afterwards.
Crystal is the most expensive award material, priced by size, weight and engraving complexity. 3D sub-surface engraving costs more than surface engraving. For larger quantities where budget matters, acrylic delivers a similar visual effect at considerably lower cost.
Ordering in bulk? Crystal awards are usually ordered in small, targeted quantities. If your programme has both senior and general recognition tiers, crystal for the senior tier and acrylic for the rest is a common and sensible split.

Yes, with 3D sub-surface laser engraving. Simple, bold logos reproduce best; logos with very fine lines or small text lose definition. Send the artwork and we will tell you how it will render.
Yes — colour printing onto the crystal face is available where the brand colour is essential. Laser engraving alone is colourless, showing as frosted white within the glass.
Engraving is permanent, so an error means a replacement piece. That is why we ask for a final spreadsheet with exact spellings and send a proof for written approval before production.
They are solid and heavy rather than delicate, but they will chip if dropped on a hard surface. Individual boxing as standard is why they generally arrive intact.
