Rigid gift boxes
Board-constructed boxes with a lift-off or magnetic lid — the premium standard.
Custom gift box printing in Mumbai — rigid boxes, kraft boxes, sleeves and hampers with foam or card inserts, printed and assembled for corporate and retail gifting.
Gift packaging is the difference between a gift and a handover. It is also the element most often left until last, by which point the contents are decided and there is no time to make a box that actually fits them.
We print and assemble gift boxes for corporate gifting, retail packaging, festive hampers and product presentation across Mumbai, including the fitted inserts that hold everything in place.
Because it is what stops the contents moving. A beautifully printed box whose items rattle around inside arrives looking cheap and often damaged. A fitted insert — foam, die-cut card or moulded pulp — holds each item in position so the box opens the way it was designed to.
The insert is also what creates the unboxing moment. Items presented in defined positions read as a curated set; the same items loose in a box read as things that happened to be packed together.
Send us your quantity and requirement — we will tell you what makes sense rather than what costs most.
Each option is priced differently. Tell us how the item will be used and we will recommend one.

| Constructions | Rigid board, folding carton, kraft corrugated, sleeve-and-tray |
|---|---|
| Board | Grey board with printed wrap, or printed and laminated duplex board |
| Finishes | Matt or gloss lamination, soft-touch, spot UV, foil stamping, embossing |
| Closures | Lift-off lid, magnetic flap, ribbon pull, tuck-in flap |
| Inserts | EVA foam, die-cut card, moulded pulp — cut to the actual items |
| Sizing | Built around the contents; physical samples of contents strongly recommended |
| Assembly | Boxes can be supplied flat or assembled and filled with your items |
| Die | Custom sizes need a die; the die is retained for reorders |
We size the box and insert against physical samples, not against estimated dimensions.
Boxes can arrive complete with contents packed, sealed and ready to hand over.
Soft-touch lamination, foil and embossing on the box change how the contents are received.
Next year's festive box reuses the die, so only the printed wrap changes.
Gift box pricing depends on construction, board thickness, printing, finishes and whether a custom die is needed. Rigid boxes cost considerably more than folding cartons or sleeves. Inserts are quoted separately and are usually worth the cost.
Ordering in bulk? Boxes take up space and are best ordered in one run for a gifting season. If you expect to repeat the format annually, the die is retained, so subsequent years cost less.

Yes. Assembly and filling is a standard part of gifting work — you receive sealed, complete boxes rather than flat boxes and loose items.
From physical samples of the actual contents. Sizing from dimensions on paper is where most fit problems come from, especially with irregular items.
EVA foam gives the most premium feel and holds items firmly. Die-cut card is lighter and more economical. Moulded pulp suits eco-oriented packaging. The choice depends on the item weight and the impression you want.
No. Standard box sizes avoid the die charge entirely and are often close enough. A custom die is worth it when the contents genuinely do not fit a standard format.
