Bi-fold leaflet
One fold, four panels — the simplest and easiest to design.
Folded leaflet printing in Mumbai — bi-fold, tri-fold and Z-fold leaflets on 130–250 GSM stock for local distribution, product information and inserts.
Leaflets sit between the flyer and the brochure. They are the natural format for anything that needs a small amount of structure — a clinic explaining its services and timings, a product with features worth listing, a course with a syllabus and fee structure.
The design constraint that matters most is the fold. Content has to be planned panel by panel, because a headline that straddles a crease looks like a mistake. We supply fold-marked templates so this is settled before design begins rather than discovered at proofing.
A flyer is a single flat sheet; a leaflet is folded. That one difference changes what each is good for. A flyer delivers one message at a glance. A leaflet has panels, which means it can reveal information in a sequence — a cover that stops you, then detail inside.
Leaflets cost more because folding is an extra operation, and they take slightly longer to produce. They are worth it when you genuinely have more to say than fits on one side of a page, and wasteful when you do not.
Send us your quantity and requirement — we will tell you what makes sense rather than what costs most.
Each option is priced differently. Tell us how the item will be used and we will recommend one.

Two folds, six panels, folding into a DL size that fits a standard envelope.
Concertina fold that opens into one continuous strip, good for step-by-step content.
Panels folding progressively inward, revealing content in sequence as it opens.
Lighter stock for newspaper and magazine insertion at high volume.
The detail that decides how your job is quoted and produced.
| Flat sizes | A4 folding to DL, A3 folding to A4, custom sizes |
|---|---|
| Paper | 130–170 GSM art paper for standard leaflets; 250 GSM card for premium feel |
| Folds | Bi-fold, tri-fold, Z-fold, roll fold, gate fold |
| Creasing | Applied on stocks above 170 GSM so the fold does not crack the print |
| Finishing | Optional lamination on heavier stock |
| Artwork | Supply flat with fold positions marked; keep key content 5 mm clear of folds |
| Envelope fit | A4 tri-folded to DL fits a standard DL envelope for posting |
Six panels of information at a fraction of what a bound brochure would cost.
A4 tri-folded to DL posts easily, which matters for mailed campaigns.
Design against the actual fold positions so nothing lands awkwardly on a crease.
Heavier stocks are creased first, so the printed surface does not crack along the fold.
Leaflet pricing adds a folding charge on top of flat printing, and the number of folds affects it. Creasing is charged separately on heavier stock but is not optional above around 170 GSM — without it the fold will crack.
Ordering in bulk? Folding is a per-piece machine operation, so volume helps but less dramatically than on flat printing. If quantity is large, ask us to compare a folded leaflet against a double-sided flat flyer — sometimes the flat option delivers the same message for less.
A straightforward process with an approval step before anything is printed.
Product, quantity, size and deadline. Send artwork if you have it — if not, we can set it up.
Priced against your actual specification, with options where a different choice would cost less.
We check bleed, resolution, colour and trim safety, then send a proof for your written approval.
Printed, finished and packed. Delivery availability depends on order size and location.
Send us your requirement any time. We reply with options and pricing, not a sales script.
An A4 sheet tri-folded produces a DL-size leaflet, which fits a standard DL envelope. That combination is the default for anything intended to be posted.
On light paper, no. On stock above roughly 170 GSM, folding without creasing first will crack the printed surface, especially through dark solid colours. We crease heavier stocks as standard.
Flat, at the unfolded size, with 3 mm bleed and fold positions marked. Ask us for the template before you start designing — panel widths in a tri-fold are not equal, because the inner panel has to tuck inside.
Yes. For insertion, lighter stock keeps both print and insertion costs down. Check the size and weight requirements with the publication before printing.
